IT'S ALL ABOUT TRUST
A task-based workshop exploring moods and intentions of rope
Playing with rope implies a level of intimacy and emotion that is sometimes set aside because of time constraints, because we are in a class or group context, or because we are practicing a new pattern. This workshop aims to translate or achieve specific feelings in a rope scene.
This workshop will address emotions and sensations (rage, support, surrender, care, anger, sexy/playful, painful, tormenting…) and how to explore them with different ties. This workshop will open some challenges, not just on a technical level, but on empathic, communication and creative ones as well.
No explicit rope technique will be taught during this class. Rather, participants will be given tasks to explore the way they go about their existing practice.
Prereqs: Know a non-collapsible SCT. Participants will be asked to tie to their current skill level–if that includes suspension, please bring the appropriate gear.
