Wabi Sabi Aesthetics in Rope Bondage

In this workshop, guided by Kirigami and Tenshiko, we will explore the principles of the wabi sabi aesthetics, applied in particular to rope chest pieces and futomomo.
We will discuss how to select the best aesthetic features in a harness, to underline the specifics of the body type and the personality of the bound subject.
We will see examples of how to play with matching or contrasting aesthetics in different harnesses within the same tie.
The workshop will be inspired by traditional Semenawa from both a practical and theoretical perspective, respecting the fundamentals of body mechanics and the general principles of Japanese aesthetics.
We will talk about how wabi sabi aesthetics entwines with the ephemeral pleasure of a bondage session.
